this year being one of the worst, I will be biting my musical bullet and aiming to get into the studio to record some brilliant tunes.

I am working with my old producer/friend back in the UK and last night he sent me some inspiring, brilliant work from my lyrics and melodies.

What does NAKED STORM mean to me?

Music is, and always has been my soul mate, relieving me of a whirlpool of feelings and emotions and the ability to convey happy and sad (and all expressions in between) expressions of a moment in my time, wrapped in a blanket of lyrics, embodied in a familiar melody forever.

My life in music has been up and down, like that eternal life roller-coaster.  As you know the past two years were drenched in much anxiety, betrayal, lies and deceit from the label who went bankrupt and from where this whole saga started.          Enough said… They need no more attention from me. I am free from it all.

This is where NAKED STORM starts its breath of life…

The word `naked` means total exposure to me. A willingness of an honest soul to come forward and express itself, truthfully, honestly, untainted, despite the consequences thereafter, or indeed any after glow to one`s self and to others, after the event.

I really want to extend who I am, who I have always been, in song, in lyrics, in art, to anyone who is willing to hear, willing to support and respect this individual (like we all should be) artist, Mandyleigh Storm.

What you see is what you`ll get. What you hear is what is truthful. This collection of songs will span from 16 years ago until the present day. Again, feelings and emotions all cobwebbed in total, honest, expression, forever.

I want this album to happen because I believe it is going to be extraordinary (within the limitations of a budget, but hey, all good songs shine through with or without the TOP recording techniques and instrumentation) and memorable. For you and for me. It might make you cry, laugh, smile, be shocked or stunned. It may even make you a tad bashful…

I need this album to happen because I need to sing. I need to write. I need to perform and be heard… I need to take you on my journey, like my debut album, “Fire & Snow” did. I believe that my testaments in song will help you, relieve you, will make you feel hopeful, will make you feel a lot of emotions. Like a lot of great music has done for me.

Please allow me to have funding for this album from your generosity. Let me reveal once again who I am and what life means to me in my musical mosaic.

Deep depression has lifted I am so happy to say that my life is getting back to happiness.

Sunny New Days are here.

I have had so long, too long, where I was here – but not here, now I am back!

Thank-you to the on-going support of my special people surrounding me. You know who you are! XXX

I am making plans and now that I have returned to music (writing new songs as we speak).

I am planning my next album.

I am forever thankful to Mick Glossop and the musicians who featured “Fire & Snow“. An incredible experience that I have for the rest of my life.

I am thankful that I am now free my the record company (Sellaband) that was the initial vehicle, enabling me to get the support I needed for a debut album & unfortunately they were the inept label that helped to drag me down into a deep depression.

This time I am going to do this my way, with your help. I will keep you informed and be in contact with you with my blogs, emails and video, allowing you to feel the steps of my pathway on which we will walk together onto “Naked Storm“.

back!

I`ve turned a corner.

I`m feeling lighter.

I`m writing again. Especially with a gorgeous man called “Bear” from the USA.

I`m singing again. In and around juggling my family and commitments.

I`m smiling again.

I`m allowing myself to dream again.

All major changes and steps for me.

I am planning to record in the studio again in the coming weeks and months. Mostly new songs.
